(Washington, D.C.) –President Joe Biden delivered a speech in Atlanta Tuesday that targeted on the lately erected obstacles to voting rights at the state level and the urgency of passing critical federal voting rights laws. They confronted a violent, mass attack on the Capitol driven by racist, white supremacist rhetoric and intentional misinformation geared toward overturning the legitimate outcomes of an election. And not coincidentally, it was an election by which document numbers of Black voters made their voices heard.

According to some rankings, no U.S. airports rank in the top 25 of airports worldwide. The legislation invests $17 billion in port infrastructure and waterways and $25 billion in airports to deal with restore and maintenance backlogs, scale back congestion and emissions close to ports and airports, and drive electrification and other low-carbon applied sciences.
